How do I send my art to Compton?

We can accept your art in a number of ways:

1) Black and white hard copy, with lines clearly drawn and exact placement and size noted

2) On CD with all graphics and font information included. CD must be accompanied by a hard color copy of what is intended with submitted art.

3) Electronic submission, with .pdf file or hard copy faxed/mailed to guarantee accuracy in transmission with file. All graphics and font information must be clearly noted.

4) FTP site for uploading of art files. Please contact us to obtain the FTP instructions.

How do I determine what size ring metal I need?

The size of the ring metal depends entirely upon what you would like to put inside your binder. Paper weight varys, of course, but here is a general rule of thumb for 20# paper:
100 sheets = 1/2"
150 sheets = 3/4"
200 sheets = 1"
300 sheets = 1 1/2"
400 sheets = 2"
500 sheets = 2 1/2"
600 sheets = 3"
This is a guideline only. Tabs, type of ring (round, angle or straight D) and weight of the paper will affect your choice of rings.

I have my artwork, can you send me a template?

Absolutely! We have hundreds of standard templates available and of you need something that is totally customized, we will be more than happy to create a template for your exact project needs to send to you.

Do you have a minimum order?

While we are set up to manufacture large, medium and small volume orders, we do have a minimum order value of $500.

What are your lead times?

As with any custom product, lead times can vary based upon materials required and any new dies needed. We can accommodate the majority of our customers requests for delivery timeframes and work to provide alternative solutions such as partial shipments if the materials do have a longer lead time.
Bottom line? Tell us what you need and we will do whatever is in our power to make sure that your project goes off on time!
